Itinerary
Day 1.-After getting picked up from your hotel, head to Chinchero where you will buy your tourist ticket. Then, take a stroll through the city and see the famous church covered in murals and the textile market. Continue to Moray, the "greenhouse of the Incas", where you can learn how the Incas were able to acclimatize their agricultural products to different climates.Next, head to the Maras Salt Mines and witness over 5 thousand salt pools. Enjoy breathtaking panoramas of the mountains and dramatic views of the salt mines. After your spectacular descent into the Sacred Valley, enjoy a delicious local lunch and continue to the Ollantaytambo archaeological site. Here, catch the train to Aguas Calientes where you will spend the night.
Day 2-.After breakfast, hop in the bus and travel to Macchu Picchu, enjoying breathtaking views of the mountains along the way.
Upon arrival, enjoy a guided tour of the archaeological zone with a local guide. Discover the most important sights and enjoy an optional visit to Huayna Picchu or Machupicchu mountain.
After your visit, hop back in the bus to Aguas Calientes, just in time for lunch before taking the train to Ollantaytambo where your driver will be waiting to take you back to Cusco.
